- 02. How is my offer calculated?
- Same way every time. We start with your vehicle's weight at our buyer's current rate. The original catalytic converter and aluminum wheels add to it. If it doesn't drive or is missing a wheel, towing comes off, based on the driving miles to the buyer. You get one clear number, good for 7 days.
- 03. Do you charge for towing?
- Never out of pocket. If it drives, there's no towing cost at all. If it needs a tow, the cost is already worked into your offer, so there's nothing to pay at pickup.
- 04. Can the offer change at pickup?
- Only if the vehicle doesn't match what you told us, like a missing part. Photos help the buyer confirm it quickly. Offers are good for 7 days.
- 05. How fast do I get paid?
- On the spot at pickup. Your buyer confirms how they'll pay you when they call to schedule.
- 06. Do I need a title?
- In most cases, yes. A title in your name gets the best offer and the quickest pickup. Without one, SC allows a scrap sale only for a car that's 12 model years or older, has no plate on it and can't run, with an SCDMV form in place of the title. - 07. I still owe on it. Can I sell?
- Usually, yes. Tell us about the loan, and a buying agent works out the payoff with your lender before pickup.
